September 16th marked Wraptor Signs & Graphics’ fifth anniversary since opening our doors back in 2013.
Yes, perhaps a bit delayed in our celebration, however our clients come first as our team has been busy installing signs in Airdrie, Okotoks, Medicine Hat, Kelowna, and soon in Kamloops and Vancouver, BC. Of course we are most proud of our clients that gave us those first project starts right here in Calgary. We would like to recognize some of the great people we worked with early on within organizations you may know such as The Calgary Chamber, Courtesy Chrysler, Power Properties and Fleet Brake, to name a few. We are also very thankful to be working with the fantastic key contacts from our latest clients that keep us hopping all over the city and beyond. These include Avison Young, Popeyes Chicken, 9Round and Pella Windows and Doors.
It would have been much harder to succeed in our quest to showcase our outstanding work throughout the Calgary region if it wasn’t for the superb support we received from our suppliers. To name a few, these organizations include ND Graphics, Grimco, Victory Vinyls, EM Plastic and Electric Products, Polymershapes and many other sign related businesses that we work with daily.
We are forever grateful to all those that nudged us along the way including past employees, our friends and family and the long-term relationships that we have proudly built with our dedicated team. More about the team in a bit but please do read on.
In celebration of our anniversary, we take this opportunity to look back on the past 5 years when our journey really began in June of 2013. We were completing several weeks of intense training in Orange County, California with the Signworld Business Partners organization when we caught a glimpse on the news of the flood tragedy unfolding back home in Calgary. It was so unbelievable, as we scrambled for any snippet of news to find out more on what was happening to our beloved city. When we returned much of the cleanup was well underway and we had our own dragons to slay. As laid out by Signworld, we began the process of setting up our new business. This included finding the ideal location, hiring our first staff, equipment setup, leasehold improvements, production, testing and training. Although this took several months to complete, we wanted to make sure that we did things right … from the very start!
In September 2013 we were ready for business. Our first project was soon underway in Silverado Marketplace and from there Wraptor took flight!
Over the past 5 years, we have successfully completed a multitude of projects ranging from wall and window graphics, interior and exterior signage to electronic billboards and some wild vehicle wraps. We have had the pleasure of working with small, medium and large clients that have spanned a wide variety of industries.
As we look forward, we will continue to provide the best possible graphic solutions to meet our client’s budgetary needs. Our aim is to stay in business for a very long time and contribute to our community and beyond. We will also continue to strive to meet or beat any comparable pricing when we are given a disclosed competitive quote.
Our strategy is to provide specialized visual graphics that we and our clients can be proud of. We are committed to helping the local people in the community accomplish their own business goals and dreams.
